and my inspiration was…
Currently I’m becoming swept up in decorating my recently reclaimed bedroom. My roommate, Carly, moved out this weekend in the final preparations to her upcoming nuptials on April 5th. So now I have a bedroom and and office. I’m taking the opportunity of having the empty room and no rush to move stuff into it to give it a look. Maybe “look” isn’t the appropriate word… its going to have a theme: Mardi Gras. I’ve been watching way too much Trading Spaces.
I know I have still never written about my amazing trip to Mardi Gras and to Harry’s Orpheus ball. I started a couple entries, but there is just too much to tell.

A lot of pictures I took and that my friend Erica took are posted on my connick.com boards. You need to scroll through most the pages in the thread to see them all (just ignore the comments, sometimes we are a little crazed… in a good way).
I can say honestly that it was the best time I’ve ever had on a trip ever. And I think that’s saying a lot because I’ve been my fair share of places and done my fare share of fun and cool things. Seeing Harry perform as close I did was worth it all, and all the other amazing times I had and people I met was just gravy. I’m already planning to go again next year.
