What was your most memorable moment from the last week?
This has been a pretty hum-drum week for me personally. Nothing really leaps out at me. *thinks* I had some comedic drama surrounding buying some fabric online after my local Hobby Lobby had sold out.
What one person touched your life this week?
My friend, Tracy, from New York. She sent me this beautiful lithograph created for the krewe that hosted the ball we attended at Mardi Gras. She had received it as a bonus after she ordered the even fancier (and much harder to get) gold foil artists-proof version that Harry had signed.
The one I received is numbered and signed by the artist and would’ve set me back $100 if I’d ordered it myself. While she could’ve sold it or given it to other people, she sent it to me. It was such a wonderful surprise.
How have you helped someone this week?
I helped my mom put her dehumidifier in the basement on Sunday – it was very heavy. Other than that… its just been not a real great week.
What one thing do you need to get done by this time next week?
I need to clean up my apartment before Jeff comes to visit for Carly and Greg’s wedding.
What one thing will you do over the next seven days to make your world a better place?
My world? I’ll clean my apartment. Less domestic chaos = happy me.
