Tuesday Ten
As I try to get into the habit of regular blogging, I’m going to drum up some thoughts with some old Friday Fives.
1. What drinking water do you prefer — tap, bottle, purifier, etc.?
If money were no object (it still seems silly to me to buy water, though I buy this stuff by the case when it goes on sale), I’d drink Vittel bottled water exclusively. I love it and first drank it when I lived in Wales. I’ve only recently (last few years) found it readily available in my area, this is probably because Nestle bought up the company a few years ago. Though pretty much anything tastes better than Iowa City tap water.
2. What are your favorite flavor of chips?
Sun Chips in the green bag (I can never remember the name of the flavor), Wavy Lays, and these awesome Fritos corn chips that were little twists and were honey bbq flavor that they sadly aren’t making anymore.
3. Of all the things you can cook, what dish do you like the most?
I don’t cook as much as I should. I make some mean lemon-pepper shrimp.
I’m more enthused by my baking skills.
4. How do you have your eggs?
Scrambled, slightly moist.
5. Who was the last person who cooked you a meal? How did it turn out?
I honestly don’t remember, its been a long time since someone cooked for me, probably my mom and I’m sure it was good, but we’ve been eating out when I visit as of late.
1. Name one song you hate to admit you like.
Stronger by Britney Spears
2. Name two songs that always make you cry.
There aren’t any songs that always make me cry, its all about context. But in the right context I’m real susceptible to the film score from Schindler’s List and I’ll admit I cried at Say Goodbye by Beth Nielsen Chapman during the Dawson’s Creek finale.
3. Name three songs that turn you on.
Your Body is a Wonderland by John Mayer, I Want You to Want Me by Cheap Trick, and Feel by Robbie Williams.
4. Name four songs that always make you feel good.
In Heaven there is No Beer, Brown-Eyed Girl, Funky Liza by the New Orleans Nightcrawlers, and Come By Me by Harry
5. Name five songs you couldn’t ever do without.
Danny Boy, The Iowa Fight Song, Amazing Grace, The 1812 Overture, and Silent Night
