If I had a million dollars…

Jan 30 2004 Published by Wendy under Random Ramblings

I’ve been ignoring my blog because I’m busy and there are impending computer joys on the horizon and i really want to do some more work on my whole website with my new toy, but Utech’s Friday Five got my mind churning and I thought I’d play this week. Here goes…

You have just won one million dollars:

1. Who do you call first?I probably should call my mom first, but I’d probably call Jeff, because, well, I always call Jeff.

2. What is the first thing you buy for yourself?A plane ticket to New Orleans for Mardi Gras. Followed by one of everything at The Apple Store.

3. What is the first thing you buy for someone else?An Alaskan cruise vacation for my mom because she’s always wanted to take one. A Mini Cooper for Jeff because last time I checked that was our standing “If I win the lottery, I’ll buy you X” understanding.

4. Do you give any away? If yes, to whom?Yes, to my mom and some to the University of Iowa music department to establish the “Keep Kevin Kastens Away from the HMB” fund.

5. Do you invest any? If so, how?I’d get some advice from my financially smart uncle and right now I’d buy a little Pixar stock just because the situation right now is so darn interesting.

20 years ago today, the Macintosh computer was introduced. It has brought joy to my life for many years. *tear*
As I type this on my 6 year old G3, the future holds the promise of a new joy coming soon. *grin*

One response so far

Meh

I hate when I don’t post for awhile, it makes me feel like such a failure, but I haven’t been posting because I haven’t felt good. Right now the feature film playing at the cinema of my life is THE COLD: Week 3 and I’m just so tired of being sick. I have never had a cold that has lasted this long before and in the last two days its basically cycled back around to the beginning stages again. I’m unamused and its really just getting me down and I don’t want to do anything/nothing is interesting. I tried playing Tomb Raider last night while I’ve still got Jerry’s PS2, but a person can only die so many times before it starts to wear on them. So I read a little and went to bed at like 9pm, so thrilling.
