The 130th running of the Kentucky Derby is just about to get underway. I always seem to be home the first weekend in May and watch it on tv. Going to Churchill Downs, wearing a fun hat, and having a mint julep is one of the items on my “things to do before I die” list.

You really don’t want a mint julep, take my word for it. They arent as tastey as they sound. Stick with wearing the fun hat, skip the Bourbon on ice with a sprig of mint.
