    Nothing incredibly thrilling. A lot of mountain sides and one really large dog.

      While in CO we hit Pikes Peak, so it looks like high altitude was on everyone’s slate. Luckily for you Mt Evans has pavement all the way to the top. Ole Zebulon only had it the first 9 miles, with the remaining 10 on nice dirt roads. Yeah, 180 degree switchbacks, 30 deg climb, on dirt, and no guardrail. Woo hoo. Pikes is 14,110, so it’s close to Evans.
