I’m not even sure what to say about Katrina.

I woke up this morning and the first thing I heard was that it had been upgraded to the nightmare of Category 5.

I’ve been glued to the tv since I got back from St. Louis early this afternoon.

I’ve only been to NOLA once, nearly three years ago. I’m very scared that I’m going to have been glad to have been there once because I’m never going to get to go there again and really visit the city that so many people love.

As far as I know, Mark, Craig, Steve, Brian, Bert, Matt, and Russell are ok. Glad I got to see them in St. Louis before we knew anything bad was coming. I pray that all their families are with them and safe.

As one of the meterologists said earlier, its like watching a train wreck happen. You know its going to be horrible, but you can’t look away.

My cousin’s ex-husband and his entire family live on Grand Isle, Louisiana. I assume they’ve all left long ago.

I am going to try and go sleep.
    Pray and sleep.

I’m only just getting a grasp on exactly how massive this storm will be. It’s starting to sound like one of those bad disaster movies of the week, only real.
