Change Wind Direction + Stop the Snowfall

Why is it that one lone fruit fly type insect shows up in my cube EVERY afternoon to torment me by flying around my face? Where does it come from?? Why is there always just ONE, even if I kill it?

Speaking of Serenity, I need to bug my co-worker about giving me my copy of the DVD back so I can loan it to another co-worker who will actually watch it. I wonder if I could hit him if I threw my bouncy squishy ball over my cube wall.

    Let’s find out…

I heard it bounce. Must have hit the floor. No response. That was no fun.

*looks around for other tossable items*

I wonder what the aerodynamic properties of a small stuffed buffalo are…

Apparently enough to elicit a response of “come on now, seriously.” heh. The DVD should return tomorrow. For his sake I hope so because I think my metal Mini Cooper model would cause some serious bodily harm.

By now you’ve probably realized, dear readers, that I’m a little out of sorts on this lovely Wednesday afternoon.
I haven’t slept through the night for the past few nights and it leaves me frazzled. Now I know some of you have the young child types gracing your homes and that sleep is a precious commodity, but this is why you should all hope I never have kids because three nights with waking up several times a night has made me very irritable. I keep getting headaches about an hour before I normally go to bed for reasons I can’t explain. I’m paranoid my cat is dying, again, which just makes me stare at her more than I should and ponder her every move or non-move. Its exhausing. I overslept this morning and had weird dreams about my cousin Emily, who I haven’t seen in several months, but who emailed me this morning. Randomly spooky. Spending an hour yesterday in an underground tunnel with 500 co-workers because of a tornado warning didn’t really help my calmness factor much. Heck, I can hardly even walk right as I very nearly dislocated my kneecap a little while ago while simply turning to walk away from someone’s desk. I know I probably need to exercise to deal with my shaky knees and my lack of sleep, but for my mental sanity tonight after work, barring not having to evacuate because of a natural disaster, I’m going home, closing the curtains, putting on the lounge clothes and watching some of my ‘Battlestar Galatica’ dvd’s from Netflix, then getting in bed way before I normally do, reading some, and hopefully actually sleeping through the night.

I have a truckload of Unisom left over from my bout with nausea, if you’re interested.

Were there big storms here while we were away? Is that why our clocks were flashing when we got home?

    3. WendyD Says:

No. No storms. I just came over and unplugged and replugged all your clocks for kicks…
