Isn’t it lovely? I’ve been at work since 10am this morning. I borrowed another flat-screen monitor from an unused cube until someone needs it. I figured I was owed that much for spending my weekend here alone. I’m working on this never-ending project that has to come to a certain point of finishing ASAP. For those of you who’ve ever heard me complain about it, its that certain form with the thousands of lines of bad code that I’ve been holding together with paper clips and string for years. I’m overhauling it but not as completely as it needs to be. More like I’m upgrading it to duct tape or possibly liquid nails for the time being. Someday it will no longer be my responsibility. But for now, I carry on because even though its a pretty much thankless part of my job as far as my work being truly appreciated for the level of revenue it maintains, I know there are hundreds of thousands of people at home and at school that need to use this form in a way that can honestly impact their futures. Ok, enough philosophizing about my work… back to it.
