Freezing ridiculous
What’s worse than spending your weekend alone at work?
Answer: freezing to death while doing it. The A/C in my part of the building is totally whack. I’m freezing worse than normal. I finally found the closest thermostat to my cube. See blurry cell phone photo as evidence:
Its set at about 70 degrees, but shows the actual temperature to closer to 64! I tried to turn it up, but I think the whole thing is controlled by some central command center and my moving the little slider thing will do no good. I just want to turn it off. It also pissed me off that we’re wasting so much energy running the A/C at these levels on the weekends. Its nuts! No one is here, turn that thing up! I’m a thermostat nazi. 78 in the summer, 68 in the winter, don’t get crazy!
I think I’m going to have to go home for lunch and get some socks and possibly a throw blanket.
