My First Quilt by Fisher Price
Finished this baby quilt tonight for a friend’s baby shower this weekend. I sure hope I heard her mom correctly this summer when she said they were using primary colors for the baby room…

The pattern was thirty squares of two colors each knit on the diagonal, then sewn together into the final layout. I didn’t do the joining as neatly as I should have and tied knots more where I probably should’ve woven bits together. The edging is a single crochet stich which I’d never attempted before tonight. It is definitely not perfect, but I managed to get the edging finished in just about three hours. I think my technique leaves something to be desired as the tip of my left thumb is just about numb.
I hope the recipient likes it and actually uses it. It was made with love even if it is a little rough around the edges, literally.

Great job Wendy! Love the colors!
