While I was getting ready for work this morning, an actual non-political commerical came on the tv. Shocking, I know. However, this commercial must have been affected by being in the same general area as all the ridiculous attack ads, as it was just so completely stupid I just stood there for a few seconds and had a “if it hadn’t been for my horse” moment. (And how many people will get that?) It was an add for something called Tylenol Go Tabs. Which I can’t even find a website for beyond someone selling them on eBay, so that’s not a good sign. The gist of the product is that they must be tylenol tablets that you don’t need water to take. Disolvable or something. The commerical has a guy standing on a street corner taking these tablets out of his pocket and the voice over is telling you how this new product is “portable” and it is so great you can take it when you aren’t at home.
Excuse me? Exactly when did regular tylenol or any other pills get so large that they aren’t “portable?” And since when is liquid to take pills only available at your house?
I get the concept of the product, but the commerical was just so bad I had to share.
