For all the mommies out there…
[UPDATE: My efforts were recognized over at PopWatch on EW.com]
Doogie, Colleen, and I went and saw Kevin Costner and his band (yes, he has a band) perform at the Field of Dreams back in August. I took pictures and posted those long ago. I had completely forgotten that I also had video of some of the performance until I saw this blog post this evening on the PopWatch blog: Wanted: Clips of the Kevin Costner Band. I found the video clips and had them upload to YouTube this evening. I forgot how completely funny that whole aspect of the event was. My blog entry title is a line that Costner said when he was introducing a song he played during the sound check. He was so out of touch with the audience, it was awesome.
You’ve not lived until you’ve experienced Kevin Costner singing with Lisa Loeb on the Field of Dreams.

Oh. My. God.
I can’t believe I had forgotten the shame and embarassment I felt for him. The ridiculing. The heckling. And now it’s on YouTube. You rock. Like Costner so desperately wants to.
