Off the shelf
Although I haven’t been writing about the books I’ve been reading, I am still attempting to complete the goal of reading fifty books in a year. I finished #17 last night, so I am on pace to make it. I was looking at my “on the shelf” list at AllConsuming last week and I realized that all but one of the books on that list were sitting on my nightstand next to my bed when I still lived in Coralville a year and a half ago. I’ve decided that those nine or ten books are the ones that I’m going to be reading next, allowing for re-reading the Harry Potter books plus any new books that I have on hold at the library. A girl can’t wait for her Harlan Coben or James Patterson fix!
If you want some well-written book reviews, I suggest Joe’s blog: Adventures in Reading. Since I haven’t actually met him in person, I’m not entirely convinced he’s not a book-reading robot.
