Day 1 is over and it was a great first day.

Tracy and I are all set up and unpacked in our suite at the Marriott Residence Inn.
No travel problems. I even got from CID to ORD 20 minutes early! And I saw a woman traveling with a baby monkey. Seriously. It was so small.

I’m off in less than 12 hours. More like 9 hours now.
I’m in total freak out packing mode.

I have a new scanner that I got from my Aunt Beverly and last night after scanning a few things I needed to scan, I decided to try out the film scanning feature. I knew it would be handy to have all my negatives filed in binders. Who else out there has this same picture?

that properly describe me today would be the use of the word “shattered.”
That’s me… SHATTERED.
My body is wiped, my brain is tired, my voice is shot, and I have bruises in random places.
But on a positive note, man it was fun! GO HAWKS!

Summer officially ended today. Le sigh.
It was good to me, so before I completely embrace college football (I did not see/hear the last game, therefore, I do not acknowledge that it happened.) and the decreasing temperatures, let me sum up the last month or so:
